About Terence Collier
Terence is an alumni of the University of Illinois (UIUC) Materials Science and Engineering department with over 30 years designing and fabrication micro structures for electronics, semiconductors and various advanced packaging solutions.
Terence holds several patents in the area of packaging and several issued patents, which additional applications in review, related to CO2 repurposing and improved fuel cell design.
He has singly published and/or been the collaborator (or cited reference) on a number publications ranging from advanced packaging, electrical test, fabrication and integration of microelectronics into various commercial, medical and military devices.
His expert understanding of fabricating 2.5D and 3D structures has placed his projects in customer solutions ranging from probes circling the earth and onwards towards the sun and outer planets, next generation automobile LiDAR, medical implants, and future high speed interconnect solutions.

Started Cal Varner and Associates and has support a wide and varied group of more than 140 private businesses and entities including AT&T, Pitney Bowes, City of Austin, DFW Airport Board, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, GTECH Corp, Metropolitan Transit of Harris (Houston) County, Anheuser-Busch, and Pennzoil (Inc) among others.
Formerly served as Planning commission, City of Austin, a more recently served as a member of the Board on the Austin Revitalization Authority. . Served as s Director for JP Morgan Chase, Austin and currently a Board Member of The Austin Club.
Marie Scantlebury

About Marie Scantlebury
Marie V. Scantlebury is an alumna of the University of Illinois (UIUC) College of LAS with a degree in Mathematics. She obtained her electrical engineering degree from North Carolina A&T State University (Greensboro, NC) and her MBA from Tulane University (New Orleans, LA).
She is a Six Sigma Black Belt with over 25 years of experience in manufacturing, including semiconductor, large industrial equipment and beverage with Delco, Caterpillar, Inc. and Coca-Cola Consolidated, Inc. She has several years of software development, procurement, process optimization, safety and human resource management experience. Marie is currently a consultant with a focus on business process improvement and change advocacy.
Her hobbies include quilting and travel.
Dr. Dean Levi

About Dr. Dean Levi
Dr. Dean Levi received his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1990. He joined the Solar Energy Research Institute (SERI) as a postdoctoral research fellow, utilizing ultrafast laser spectroscopy to study how quantum materials enhance photo-electrolysis of water for solar production of hydrogen. He subsequently dedicated his 30-year career at the SERI / National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) to advancing the science and technology of renewable energy.
In 2007, became principal investigator and group manager of NREL’s Electro-Optical Characterization group. In this role he was responsible for scientific leadership, project management, personnel management, grant writing, and reporting to NREL’s funding sponsors at the US Department of Energy, securing $27M in funding over the next nine years. In 2016, he was asked to take over management of NREL’s world-renowned Cell and Module Performance group, securing $8M in funding over the next three years. During his time as principal investigator and group manager, he led major advances in the accuracy of calibrations of solar cell and module performance, making NREL the most accurate photovoltaic calibration lab in the world.
Dr. Levi has published over 200 journal articles, conference proceedings, and scientific reports with over 7,500 citations and an H-index of 40.

Gerald Grayer is an alumnus of the University of Illinois (UIUC) Mechanical Engineering Department. Gerald is a Senior Level Engineer with over 30 years of direct hands on Engineering including working both domestically and internationally.
His work includes eight years in Natural Gas Industry focusing on Engineering, Operations and Maintenance, and Compliance for Nicor, a Southern Company Gas, in the Chicagoland area. He also has 17 years in Telecommunication Industry field operations leading Engineering Design efforts, Project Management, and Network Center Management at AT&T.
Prof. Paul Braun

About Paul Braun
Prof. Paul V. Braun is the Director of the Materials Research Laboratory, the Grainger Distinguished Chair in Engineering, and Professor of Materials Science and Engineering. He also has a co-appointment as a Professor in Chemistry and is affiliated with the Department of Mechanical Sciences and Engineering and the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology.
The Braun group focuses on the synthesis of materials with carefully crafted 3D nano- and mesoscale architectures which lead to emergence of new optical, electrochemical, and thermal functionalities. Recent priority research areas include materials for energy storage, advanced optics, chemical sensing, and the control of heat. Prof. Braun received his B.S. degree with distinction from Cornell University, and his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois.
Bill Mathews

About Bill Mathews
Bill have over 31 years of proven experience in large construction, utility and project management and engineering design services. Bill has led various commercial, public and private construction and utility management project exceeding $500M.
He has been the acting Administrator for the City of Columbus Sewage and Drainage. He achieved minority business and female business record engineering and construction goals for the Department of Public Utilities in Columbus, Ohio.
Bill’s responsibilities have included responsibility for the Safeguards and Securities Project, as well as facilities management for EG&G Mound Applied Technologies Mound Labs in Miamisburg, Ohio. Bill was responsible for several multi-discipline large construction projects in the St. Louis area working for Monsanto, St. Louis Parks Airport and the Bi-State Development Agency.

About Nicole Holmes
Nicole Holmes is an IT professional whose career spans more than 24 years in technology, systems administration, software development, process engineering, project and program management. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree and a Master of Science in Business Information Technology (MBIT) degree. She has also designed websites, digital and print media for small businesses and nonprofits for over 25 years.
She brings more than 25 years of experience in business strategy planning and implementation, product management, technology development, and leadership to our team.
